The Madison County Crier is a locally owned, community-based newspaper founded in 2008.
Headquartered in Fredericktown, Missouri, we are completely
original and completely
uncensored.

We are committed to giving to the community and surrounding area what is only
ours to give - our
voices. In addition, we want to help those around us find their
voices and not be afraid to use them.

We provide you with up-to-date information on market reports, the latest in farming
techniques
including organic practices, and local happenings, as well as anything
we deem worthy of public
scrutiny or exploitation.

The Crier is published bi-monthly, on the second and fourth Wednesdays. It is free
to the
community and distributed to schools, various community organizations,
retail stores and
restaurants. It is also available for subscription order.

Please visit our
contact page to inquire about special events, comment on editorials or submit
something of your own. Please note submission guidelines
before sending letters or articles.
